The purpose of the Klickitat County Meth Action Team is to take back Klickitat County from the insidious effects of methamphetamine usage. To succeed, the Team will use a multidisciplinary approach between government officials, educators, treatment providers and law enforcement to achieve the following goals:
- EDUCATION of county citizens to the dangers of methamphetamine;
- PREVENTION of methamphetamine use, especially by the young;
- TREATMENT of methamphetamine users;
- COUNSELING of the families and loved ones of methamphetamine users;
- ERADICATION of the production, supply and demand for methamphetamine in Klickitat County.
